Microtel hotel staffs arrived on Cuneta Elementary School on the fifth day of Brigada Eskwela 2018 to donate learning kiosk. These kiosks were shaped into mini houses that would be a home to various learning materials. The objective of putting learning kiosk in every hallway of the school was to ensure accessibility of instructional materials that would promote love for learning in every CES pupils’ heart. What started out from a simple proposal was brought to life by the support and dedication of Microtel in giving the learners’ the best possible materials.
The learning kiosks were immediately placed in every hallway of the new building. Each of them was loaded with instructional materials per subject area. The coordinators for these subject areas extended their expertise in putting together learning mediums which the learners would most benefit from.
Afterwards, another distribution of school supplies took place. The distribution was continuous throughout the week to accommodate parents whom might have busy schedules in some of the dates the school announced. Moreover, a livelihood training program was once again conducted to provide training for interested parents on the making of dishwashing liquid. The fund that the school would gain from the dishwashing liquid profits will be used for the awards and incentives of pupils with perfect attendances in each month of the school year.
In the afternoon, the repainting of chairs, tables and cabinets were resumed. The volunteers helped through the entire process of repainting. They also extended added aid in other areas that the school staffs were having a hard time to finish.
