Pasay City Mayor and Regional Peace and Order Council Chairman Antonino “Tony” Calixto and Congresswoman Imelda “Emi” Calixto-Rubiano has always been vocal and transparent of their plans of renovating public schools in Pasay City. Their project has finally came to Cuneta Elementary School on May 2017 and the school has slowly been making its way towards a new appearance. On the opening of classes for the SY 2018-2019, the school officially transferred to the new building while the other half continues on with the reconstruction.
From a two-floor building, CES is now four-story school with the planned architectural look to be a u-shaped campus. Brigada Eskwela 2018 has proved to be more challenging for the school as it struggles to settle to the new building. However, the community united as one to prepare the school for the myriad of learners to enter in the incoming opening of classes.
As the school year is now facilitated with the new building, old rooms such e-laboratory, principal’s office, school’s canteen and multi-purpose hall continues to operate under the old building of CES. The school is currently anticipating the full-renovation of the building to be done by the year 2019.
